Matthew is always looking to inspire his students to be their best whether it be teaching in the acting & dance arena, or in the fitness world.
As an acting and audition technique coach, he always strives to work with what the character’s intention is as material is explored, keeping the character honest, specific and grounded in the reality of truth.
When Matthew is teaching dance, whether it be musical theater, jazz, contemporary, or partnering, he asks each performer to bring their own style to the table. Always starting off with a ballet-jazz based warmup, he then challenges the class to use their technique to tell a story, connecting with those around them and the audience.
Matthew has taught personal and group fitness for many years including boot camp, kickboxing, cardio dance, boxing and now focuses his teaching on yoga. His ashtanga based yoga class not only acts as an excellent way to stretch the body, but also the perfect opportunity to center the mind.
